When a campaign message fails, EatNow keeps the recipient in the original campaign and records every delivery attempt. Fix the cause first, then use the campaign report to retry only the affected recipients.

Meta error 131042 — payment configuration

Meta rejected the template message because the WhatsApp Business account cannot currently be charged. This code is returned by Meta; EatNow cannot validate or fix the payment method on Meta’s behalf. It can affect only part of a send if Meta reports the issue after processing has already started.
  1. Open EatNow → Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp.
  2. Confirm that the displayed phone number and WhatsApp Business account match the restaurant.
  3. In Meta Business Manager, open billing for that WhatsApp Business account.
  4. Check that the payment method belongs to the correct WhatsApp Business account, is valid, and has no failed or overdue payment.
  5. Return to the campaign, confirm that the Meta configuration was corrected, then retry the failed recipients.
If the error persists, verify that the phone number and billing account shown in Meta match the WhatsApp integration connected to this restaurant.

WhatsApp integration inactive

Open EatNow → Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp and reconnect or reactivate the integration. EatNow will not retry campaign recipients while the access token, phone-number ID, or integration status is missing.

Missing language template

Create or select an approved marketing template for the recipient language. French recipients use the French template when available. English and every other language use the English template. Return to the retry dialog and select the approved template before relaunching.

Meta error 131026 — message undeliverable

Meta could not deliver the message to this recipient. Common causes include an invalid or inactive WhatsApp number, the recipient not accepting the latest terms, or a temporary device/account condition. EatNow does not permanently suppress the customer, but retrying is marked as not recommended because repeated attempts commonly fail again. Check the customer phone number before forcing a retry.
