Date range and metrics

The date filter affects the metrics and daily conversation chart. The plan card always shows the current month, even when you select another period.
  • Conversations: customers receiving at least one reply, counted once per local restaurant day.
  • Automation rate: customer/day pairs with an agent reply divided by those with a reply or a staff review/handoff outcome.
  • Reservations created: reservations found from the agent’s recorded creations, with their cover count.
  • Staff handoffs: customer/day pairs needing review or intervention, including shadow drafts and certain blocked or failed turns.
A conversation can receive a reply and then be handed to staff, appearing in both counts. The automation rate does not mean all these conversations were resolved without human intervention.

Reading the quota

The card shows the plan, quota, any extra allowance, usage and next reset. The counter uses local days, not a rolling 24-hour window: the same customer at 23:50 and 00:10 can count twice. Without overage, new conversations are handed to staff after the quota is reached. Exchanges already counted that day continue. With overage enabled on a paid plan, the card shows an estimated extra charge. See Plans.

Who can change the quota?

EatNow manages plan changes, overage and extra allowances. The button granting additional conversations is reserved for EatNow administrators; owning your organization does not grant that access. An extra allowance expires at the next monthly reset and is cleared when changing plans.

Why do the numbers differ from my WhatsApp inbox?

Incoming messages, human replies and unsent drafts do not each consume a conversation. Check the restaurant, date range and whether the agent actually replied. A shadow draft can count as needing review without consuming a conversation.
