The notification center is the history of what happens at your restaurant: every reservation, cancellation, payment or review leaves a card there, whether you received the push or not. This is what the App column of your preferences controls.

On the web

The bell icon in the top bar, with the number of pending items. It opens a side panel.

In the app

The Notifications entry in the menu, with the same count badge.

The three tabs

Notifications

The activity feed. Every card carries the essentials — customer name, time, party size — and opens the matching reservation or activity in one tap. The All / Unread filter sits at the top, and Mark all as read clears the badge in one go.

Inquiries

Reservation requests awaiting your approval. You can Accept or Reject them straight from the card, without opening the full record. This is the tab to watch: as long as a request sits there, a customer is waiting for an answer. A rejected request disappears from the feed.

The WhatsApp tab

Ongoing WhatsApp conversations, when a number is connected. The badge turns red when the AI agent has handed over and is waiting on a human. See Reviewing conversations.

What appears in your feed

The notification center filters by your preferences, per person. A card appears for you when:
  • the App column is on for that notification (restaurant default, or your own setting from the app);
  • you have permission to see what it is about;
  • for new reservations, the party size meets the Min. group threshold set by the restaurant.
Turning a row off here deletes nothing: the event is still recorded, it just stops cluttering your feed. Colleagues keep seeing it if their settings allow, and the reservation stays visible in the reservation list.
The notification center is the right place for events you want to be able to find without being interrupted during service: reservation modifications, re-confirmations, payments. Leave them on App and turn their push off — which is in fact the default.

The cards you cannot hide

Two situations always leave a card, even if you turned the row off: an inquiry pending confirmation and an AI agent escalation. In both cases a customer is waiting on a human, and the trace must not be able to disappear. Their push stays adjustable. Conversely, new WhatsApp messages never appear in the feed: one card per message would bury everything else, and the WhatsApp tab already exists for that.
