Why use this feature?

In the restaurant business, missed calls mean lost reservations. A customer who can’t reach you will often go somewhere else. With EatNow’s Missed Calls feature, every unanswered call becomes an opportunity:
  • The customer automatically receives a WhatsApp message seconds after their call
  • The message contains your booking link, allowing them to book directly online
  • If the customer already has a reservation, the message reassures them and gives them access to their booking

How does it work?

  1. A customer calls your restaurant and you don’t pick up
  2. The call is automatically redirected to an EatNow virtual number
  3. EatNow identifies the customer and sends them a personalized WhatsApp message
  4. The customer clicks the link and books online
Everything is automatic. You don’t need to do anything once the feature is set up.

Requirements

To use this feature, you need:
  1. An active WhatsApp integration on your EatNow account
  2. At least one WhatsApp template of the “Missed call” type approved by Meta
  3. The Missed Calls feature activated by the EatNow team
