Step 1: Update the App

1. Ensure the EatNow app is up to date on your device.
2. Open the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
3. Search for “EatNow For Restaurants” and install any available updates.

Step 2: Access Your Profile

1. Open the EatNow app on your mobile device or tablet.
2. Go to your profile by tapping the avatar icon located at the top right of the screen.
3. Select My Profile from the list of options.

Step 3: Enable Notifications

1. In the Notifications section, tap the “Enable notifications” button.
   • A popup window will appear asking for permission to send notifications.
   • Accept this request by selecting “Allow”.
   • Once permission is granted, a green message will confirm that push notifications have been successfully enabled.

Step 4: Check Notification Permissions

1. Go to your Device Settings (iOS or Android).
2. Find the EatNow app in the list of installed apps.
3. Ensure notifications are enabled for the app.
   • On iOS: enable “Allow Notifications”.
   • On Android: enable “Show notifications”.

Step 5: Configure and Test Notifications

1. Return to the EatNow app.
2. Go to Settings > Notifications.
3. Access the second tab labeled “Restaurateur”, which concerns internal team notifications.
4. Check the types of notifications you wish to receive as push notifications.
5. Once configured, tap “Save” to enable push notifications for your entire team.
