# Restaurant details

> Update public contact details and understand the portal address.

Under **Settings → Restaurant**, first check the selected location. This form
supplies the contact details used on the portal and in messages.

## Update the details

1. Enter the name, address, postal code, city and country.
2. Check the location, contact email and phone numbers.
3. Add the website and Instagram URLs if you want to use them on the portal.
4. Click **Save**, then **Go to my portal** to check the public result.

You need **Update restaurant** permission. The current form expects a five-digit
postal code. If your address does not fit, contact support rather than entering
an incorrect address.

## Name and portal address

The **name** is display text; the **slug** identifies the restaurant in its web
address. The slug field is restricted to EatNow administrators. Renaming the
restaurant does not automatically replace that field in this form.

Changing the slug changes the portal link and reloads the application at the new
address. Have EatNow check shared links, widgets and QR codes when making this
change.

## Where do I set hours and links?

Bookable days and hours are configured in [shifts](/shifts/schedule). This form
does not configure availability or offer a Google import. Manage the Google
connection under [integrations](/integrations/reputation).

To show or hide the phone, website or Instagram in the header, use
[Portal → Links](/portal/links). Entering a URL here does not replace enabling
the link.
