# Scheduled reports

> Receive performance reports, CSV exports or custom reports by email.

Open **Settings → Notifications → Automatic reports**. These emails have their
own recipients; staff notification preferences do not replace them.

## Choose a report

Click **Add**, give it a clear name and choose:

* **Preset — Performance**: standard indicators for monitoring activity.
* **Preset — Data export**: a standard reservation CSV.
* **Custom report**: columns, period, calculations and format suited to your
  needs.

For example, use performance for a manager, an export for data work, or a custom
report comparing confirmed and cancelled covers.

## Configure a custom report

1. Choose **Previous period** or **Upcoming period**.
2. Choose the date basis: **reservation date** for service activity, or
   **reservation creation date** to measure incoming bookings.
3. Select **1, 7 or 30 days**. In this form, this also links the daily, weekly
   or monthly delivery cadence.
4. Add **Metric**, **Formula** or **Evolution** columns.
5. Choose to count reservations or covers where the metric allows it.
6. Refresh the preview and correct errors before saving.

A formula uses column keys and supported operators, such as
`confirmed + cancelled`. Evolution compares a column with the previous period,
as a value or percentage. Column keys must be unique.

Upcoming days start today; the proposed previous period ends yesterday. Always
check the dates in the preview. Custom reports offer **CSV** or **PDF**, with
page orientation for PDF.

## Schedule delivery

Set the available frequency, sending time and at least one recipient email.
Enable the report and **Save**. To suspend future deliveries, deactivate and
save it.

For preset reports:

* daily: yesterday’s data;
* weekly: the elapsed week, scheduled on Monday;
* monthly: the elapsed month, scheduled on the first.

A test uses the period calculated at test time; check the dates in the email.

## Preview, test and run

The **preview** checks columns without sending the report. **Send a test** on a
saved report sends a real email to its recipients. **Run** launches a saved
custom report. Save changes before using these actions; they use the stored
configuration.

You cannot switch between preset and custom mode when editing; create another
report if needed.

## Nothing arrives

Check activation, recipients, frequency, time, spam folders and test results.
For a one-off manual export, use [Integrations → Export](/reservations/export)
without scheduling a report.
