# Measure the portal journey

> Configure Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel in EatNow.

Under **Settings → Integrations → General**, the Analytics and Tracking cards
configure portal measurement.

## Choose the right card

* **Google Analytics 4**: enter your Google Analytics identifier in the offered
  `G-…` format.
* **Google Tag Manager**: enter the identifier of the GTM container intended for
  the portal.
* **Meta Pixel**: enter the Pixel ID.

Click **Connect** or **Update** and check that the saved identifier belongs to
the restaurant. These fields expect an identifier, not a complete HTML script.

## What it covers

The configuration applies to the EatNow portal, including restaurant and
activity booking flows. It does not automatically install these tools on every
page of your own website.

Events depend on the journey: viewing an offer, starting payment and completing
a booking are different. A request awaiting approval should not be interpreted
as a collected payment.

With GTM, have the person managing your tracking check the tags and conversions
consuming portal events. Saving the identifier does not define your entire
measurement plan.

## Check results

Open the portal and check its journey in the measurement tool. If nothing
appears, check the identifier, account, container publication, consent choices
and browser blockers. If figures are doubled, look for the same tool installed
directly and through GTM.

[EatNow source tracking](/marketing/source-tracking), attached to reservations,
answers a different question: where did the customer come from? Adding a pixel
does not replace it.
