# Export your customers

> Download your customer base as Excel or CSV — contact details, visits, spending and your own customer fields.

Open **Customers**, click **Actions** (top-right), then **Export** → **Export as Excel** or **Export as CSV**. The download starts immediately.

You need the **Customers → Export** permission (see [Permissions](/collaborators/permissions)).

## What's in the file?

One line per customer, with these columns:

ID · Name · Email · Phone number · Country code · Country · Language · Number of visits · Number of reviews · Average rating · Total paid · Average basket · Created on · Updated on

Each of your [customer fields](/customers/custom-fields) is added as an extra column.

## Which customers are exported?

* **Without a date filter**: your whole customer base.
* **With a date filter** at the top of the list: only the customers whose **last visit** falls in that period.

<Note>
  The search bar and the other filters of the list don't apply to the export. To export everyone, clear the date filter first.
